People say to me all the time, “I wish I could paint…” Guess what? You can. You read that correctly. YOU can.
Anyone can paint. One day (yes, it was during the pandemic) I decided that I would learn to play the guitar. I grew up in a musical family, but firmly believed the gene had just skipped me. The first day I thought, “I wish I could play the guitar…”
So, like anyone in my generation, I watched YouTube videos and taught myself. The first few days I was terrible, and the tips of my fingers went from numb to painful to calloused. After spending time every day practicing, I was able to play Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds and it sounded okay.
My rambling music rant is all to say that you can do anything you want to do. If you want it and you work at it, there are very few limits in this life.
So, paint. Or play the guitar. The sky is the limit if you want it.
